The QR-bill for a rent
Every lease carries its own QR reference, QRR on a QR-IBAN account or SCOR on an ordinary IBAN, which the tenant copies once onto their standing order. The monthly invoice and the standing order slip always carry the same reference: that reference, and only that, is what later lets each payment be found in the bank statement.
One reference, not twelve a year
QRR on a QR-IBAN account
27 digits, with a check digit computed by recursive modulo 10. This is the form a QR-IBAN collection account requires — never a matter of preference.
SCOR on an ordinary IBAN
The international standard ISO 11649 ("RF" followed by two check digits). An ordinary IBAN rejects a QRR reference; both forms designate the same order number, never two different references for the same lease.
Copied once, onto the standing order
The tenant enters it once on their standing order. The standing order slip states no month: it stays valid from one due date to the next, with nothing ever to renew.
What that changes day to day
A rent change doesn't change the reference
If the amount due changes, the standing order already in place keeps working: only the amount changes, never the number that identifies the lease.
No separate invoice for whoever pays by standing order
The payment is found by its reference in the bank statement every month, with no separate invoice needed.
CHF and EUR, the two currencies the standard recognises
The Swiss QR-bill standard only knows these two currencies — the standard itself sets that limit, not a choice made by Gestorent.
What we're asked about the QR-bill
Do I have to choose between QRR and SCOR myself?
No: the type of collection account decides alone. A QR-IBAN account requires a QRR reference, an ordinary IBAN rejects it — Gestorent applies the right form with nothing to configure.
Does the tenant need to fill in a new slip every month?
No: the standing order slip states no month. A rent change updates the amount due, never the reference, and the standing order already in place keeps working with nothing else to redo.
What happens once the standing order is in place?
Nothing further on the tenant's side: no separate monthly invoice is sent, the reference alone is enough to find their payment in the bank statement every month.

The QR-bill and the standing order are part of every tier, with no separate paid option.
